Violence is never the answer. GEt together with the other kids parents and stick up for your kid. Get the school involved. Write down the incidences and keep a record for the police. Let the parents know that this has been going on far too long and needs to stop or you will take action against them for their childrens bullying ways. If the parents dont care then you know why the children are the way they are, ya know the apple doesnt fall far from the trees. Your child is not a emotional punching bag and this sort of thing needs to be handled. By all means you can be with your kid 24 hours a day so you can teach your child the 3 rule. Tell them to first ignore the bully, second let them tell the bully that they need to stop or the police are going to be told, third and only if they are being physically threatened should they defend themselves with hitting back. Down here the schools seem to treat the victim the same as the instigator but that is crap. This is why we have Columbines going on. Too much competition in the schools and children not being taught manners at home, like in the old days.
