I know from personal experience that I've been attracted to guys my whole life (I'm 28) but I've always fantasized about women. (I don't know if this helps or not, but) when I realized that I am, I already knew I was attracted to the opposite sex, but I had a huge crush on my best friend who's also my gender (and not just because of her personality). If anything like that happens or happened, it would seem that you are.

The main question to ask yourself is, 'am I attracted to both men and women?' If you are, then you may be bisexual.

However, throughout your life, you may get periods of time where you are more attracted to one sex than the other. For example: one year, you may be attracted to mostly women, and the next year you are attracted to mostly men. This still counts as being bisexual, it can just be harder to realise that you are.

Also know that there's a difference between "attraction" and "sexual thoughts". Many heterosexual people have sexual thoughts of the same sex all the time, but aren't attracted to them at all. The same goes for homosexuals. If its attraction, you're probably bi. If its sexual thoughts, you may be bi still-like the person above me answered, it can be a different amount of attraction. If you ever feel attracted to one sex you're not attracted to now, you may be bi.

In my humble opinion and much evidence exists to back this view up and this will shock many people, most people are Bi-Sexual.

The Kinsey Report touched on this subject in 1940-50's and from empirical evidence over the decades since it seems that, biologically-

1) We know that most Mammals are Bi-sexual (ask any farmer with pigs/cattle/sheep etc) Humans are mammalian.

2) Pure Hetero and Homo-sexuality is rare (less than 10% of population each)

3) Using a 'Bell-Curve' for population distribution, over 70% of us are within 1 standard deviation of 50-50 (Bi-sexual) on the spectrum of sexuality.

4) We all sit somewhere on this spectrum between Heterosexual 100%->Bi-sexual 50-50-> Homosexual 100%.

E.g. We may be Hetero 70% and 30% Homosexual Thus Bi-sexual to a degree.

Hence the spectrum of human sexuality and the 'Rainbow' flag commonly thought of as the Gay Flag, but in fact the flag for all Human Sexuality.

What does this mean to you?

Odds are you will be 'biologically' bi-sexual. Most people are.

The environmental factors discouraging or encouraging you (like Religion, spirituality, education, IQ, EQ, opportunity, drugs etc) to act on this 'need' are unique to each individual.

Only you, and you alone decide when, how and if. (taking into account relevant State Laws)
