The tundra region is a biome of natural species, commonly found in the Arctic and Antarctic regions. Pollution in the tundra is as a result of wilderness tourism where visitors to certain tundra region exploits the area and left a rubbish dump behind. In order to reduce the pollution, or completely alleviated the problem, cruise ships to those areas should impose restrictions on the tourists they are carrying. The carrying capacity should be limited for a higher price, and tourists should be restricted to access certain areas in the Tundra.

The transportation of oil and its activity can also impact the pollution levels in tundra regions. An example is the largest oil spill in 1989 by an Exxon Valdez tanker, destroying fishing waters and polluting the coastline. Oil companies should adapt an emergency response such as situations to reduce its polluting effects. Eventually, the cleanup of the area was completed by 1992.

Half-diminished cords use the minor seventh instead of the diminished seventh. Also known as a minor seventh flat five (m7♭5).
