you can prevent oil spills by also preventing pollution. also before you start fueling, defueling, internal transfer etc.. make sure you check to make sure it is tight and there are no leaking glands. also you can use less electricity. so by turning off the lights in your house when your not in that room or something they are using less oil to make that electricity!!!!
