1) remove radiator cap
2) Fill radiator with coolant.
3) replace radiator cap
4) remove reservior cap
5) fill to "fill cold" line
6) replace reservior cap
If your system not very low or empty you can omit 1-3.
Why does the radiator fill up the reservoir
You have to fill the overflow tank as the radiator does not have a fill cap. Run the engine as you fill the overflow tank but just up to the marks on the tank.
First open up the radiator, then there's a drain plug on the bottom of the radiator. Fill with water and drain until clear. Fill it up and good to go.
Take radiator cap off, fill radiator with coolant, put cap back on!
ON THE BOTTOM OF THE RADIATOR THERE IS A SPIGOT TO DRAIN THE RADIATOR TURN THIS TILL IT OPENS UP AND YOURE RADIATOR FLUID WILL DRAIN RIGHT OUT THE BOTTOM THEN TO FILL MIX ANTIFREEZE AND WATER 50/50 UNLESS ALREADY PREMIXED THEN FILL START CAR UP AND CONTINUE FILLING TILL RADIATOR IS FULL MAKE SHURE U CLOSE THE SPIGGOT IN THE BOTTOM OF THE READIATOR FIRST BEFORE FILLING
Well, lets see, would it be on the radiator? what a smart aleck! actually, to fill up the radiator with coolant, you have to fill up the resevoir. it is a round, plastic compartment, just above the washer fluid compartment on the top left side of the engine. There is a "maximum" line that you fill it up to.
The radiator overfill tank is the only spot to fill the radiator. There is no fill cap on the radiator itself.
The radiator drain plug should be located on the bottom of the radiator on the passenger side. Open that, let the old coolant flow into a drain pan, replace the drain plug once the coolant is out and the radiator is flushed, then fill it up through the radiator cap.
fill up the radiator and then fill up the over flow located on the pass. side of the truck half way
i don't really know but get the 50/50 radiator fluid and fill it up
you don't fill the radiator directly, there is no radiator fill cap. you fill the overflow reservoir and it keeps the radiator full. overflow reservoir is spherical plastic near firewall. power steering reservoir is up front near battery.
On the radiator.
