Litter hurts the earth in many ways.
First, some litter are made of materials such as plastic. These materials are not biodegradable. That means it will not dissolve in a natural environment, and may stay where it is thrown for a long time, hurting the organisms around it. Plastic bottles and bottle caps are examples of plastic litter.
However, some litter are biodegradable. THIS DOES NOT MEAN YOU SHOULD LITTER THESE THINGS. They are paper, tissues, paper towels, toilet paper.....etc. Basically, they are the things that will dissolve if it rains, or if something eats it.
