One way the media has stereotyped people is with things that we buy everyday. The media states that girls things are pink, purple, red etc.. and that boys things are blue, black yellow etc...

Because this is being said everywhere, people are led to believe that boys can only have boys things, and girls can only have girls things. Of coarse, this is not true. There is no such thing as a "girl color" or "boy color".
