LESS THAN 10 YEARS! I have no idea why people assume it is fine to continue our current consumption of oil all because of our inability to understand the exponential function.
Unless we decrease our usage of oil (in which case it may be between 10-20 years) we will run out very soon. We have to find the same volume of oil in the next ten years as we have ever used. People keep ignoring that fact that the problem is there, and the oil companies do not want to alarm us.
