In British Columbia many of us have joined to help put a stop to bullying and changing the laws regarding the rights of the Education System to be able to 'kick out' the troublemakers in school (like they use too up until the 1960's.) It's time the parents took control of their bullying children. Sometimes children that are bullies have been bullied at home, or a father bullying his son to excel in sports, or a mother pressing her daughter to 'be the best.' It's a form of bullying when the pressure is too great for the child. Bullying has gotten out of hand and there is a high rate of suicide especially among teens because of bullying. There are also more murders every year regarding teens killing teens (bullying yet once again) and we've had our fill of it here and fighting back for those kids that are bullied and can't fight back.

What can a person do if they see someone getting bullied?
You should stand up to the bully and show no sign of approval to what the bully does.Also tell the person getting bullied about a time you were bullied and tell them how you handled the situation. If you feel this person will harm themself, tell them that it doesnt matter what others say they have alot to live for. Show them a video called make it stop septembers children by rise against. we have lost many brave souls to suicide caused by being bullied. The things that make us different make us awesome.
