you can waste water many ways. Like for explain you waste water by brushing teeth with the water running, or washing dishes and have the water running while you are washing the dishes. There are so many ways on how people waste water just you could be wasting water right now.
Running a full load of dishes uses 9 to 12 gallons of water. Washing and rinsing the same load by hand takes 20 gallons.
Inotice 12 litter water to be used for one KG Industrial washing.
depends some are 155 the best ones are around 70 litres I have to buy a new washing machine and what with all the water drought upon us (Mar/Ap 2012) I thought I would find one that uses less water. The Siemens iQ500 WM16S496GB uses 56 litres per cycle and has a A*** energy rating so good on electric too - hope this helps

There are 19 liters of water in 19 liters.
There is no such thing as "an average toilet leak" . -I repair toilets almost every day and see leaks from all kinds of places. Very few of them would waste even one gallon of water in a week. -But they are still annoying and damaging to flooring.
Using a dishwasher is faster and sometimes more cleaner than washing by hand. Hand washing saves money on energy because of drying, but it is time consuming. I prefer to use a dishwasher when I have a lot of dishes to do, but handwash if there are only a couple of dishes.
