Depends on what the pressure is to do. Not everyone will give into peer pressure to smoke but they might give into peer pressure to jaywalk. So pretty much 100% will give into peer pressure about something.

No one can be sure because most 8-9 out of 10 do and those who don't are either really lucky or are not associated with people as well as they should be. People can fight it by just walking away though.

this is a quite deep psychological thing, basically there are 3 types of agreeing with sum1, compliance which is when you just go along with it, internalisation when you completely chaneg your mind and wholly believe it and identification in it- it depends which of these it is as to why.

the 2 normal are normative influence and informational

normative is basically 'complying(so not realyl thinking it, but going along) and this happens because they want to be part of the 'in' crowd.

the last 2 however are more informational- basically you think the other person knows what they are talking about, and so agree

a lot for the simplest thing as gossip or for a big thing like smoking and its sad to see them do this, but it happens every where and theres no way to stop it except to say no to peer presure

It would be impossible to state a specific number of people dying from peer pressure. However, many people commit suicide, begin bad habits like smoking and drinking, and take risks because of peer pressure.

It is a true test of friendship; those who attempt to pressure you into doing something bad against your will fail this test. However, those who encourage you to do something which could potentially help you become a better person are true friends.
