Cesar Chavez led marches against farm workers having to work hard for little money
Cesar Chavez's main goal was to have equality between the Mexican workers and be able to earn a fair wage. He did everything that he could including protests, and even spending time in jail.
When Cesar was 17 he went into the U.S. army . He came back about 2 years later to check on the state. Cesar saw that the Boss still treated everybody harshly and didn't pay them enough money. He thought to himself and said that somebody should do something about it. He decided to help the people with his savings money.
Cesar Chavez is important because of how he helped not only farmers but our society. He taught us many things from civil rights to which crop foods to eat and which not to eat. He is truly one of the most important citizens of all time.

Cesar Chavez and the National Farm Workers Association (NFWA) initially relied on small donations from supporters, union dues, and contributions from religious organizations and community groups. They also received assistance from the United Farm Workers (UFW), which was created as a result of the NFWA's efforts. Fundraising campaigns and grassroots organizing helped to gather resources necessary to support their initiatives. Additionally, Chavez's leadership and the support of activists played a crucial role in mobilizing financial backing for the movement.
