How oil is destroying earth?

3.the pesticides and fertilizers sprayed on non organic produce poisons the soil and fish in streams. Causing cancer in our food supply.

4.pharmaceuticals made from petroleum carry complex molecules that cannot be filtered out of the water and build up at an alarming rate in the environment.

5. oil spills are killing the ocean life and causing cancer. Then the "dispersants" they use to clean them up are 60% more polluting than the oil containing all the most toxic substances known to humanity for no apparent reason.

6. 30,000 people die from car crashes

7. The co2 emissions are causing hurricanes, drought, and floods.

The road and highway system broke up the natural system and is causing a mass extinction of all wild life.

Oil itself does nothing to the planet, it is buried deep underground. However burning oil releases Sulphur Dioxide, and CO2. These damage the atmosphere and the sulphur damages Plants and pollutes water.
