just like any other persondisability or not- they are still humans, still have feelings, and should receive the respect they deserve as people

if your question is pertaining to a disability that causes a lack of response- then keep in mind a good number of people are trapped in their own personal hell where they understand everything that is going on... but cant show it

just treat them like everyone eles with the thought in the back of your head that (for example) if they're in wheelchair that they might need a hand getting things up high.. just as you would if you were short... don't treat it like a disability- you wouldn't want people to act really embarrassed and awkward if you asked for something on the top shelf that you couldn't reach but they could.. its the exact same senario
