The fuel is refined from hydrocarbon liquids and gases derived from wells drilled deep into the Earth's crust. Those hydrocarbons were/are derived from far deeper sources in the mantle. My theory is that at certain as yet undiscovered levels of the mantle, the temperature and pressure are ideal for elemental carbon and hydrogen to combine. Over time, these hydrocarbons seep up into the crust where we find them. The ones from the deep oceans are the purest because they have not yet been exposed to the organic contamination found either in shallower seas or on terra firma.
renewable resource
it is a renewable resource
Sunlight is a renewable resource. It can be harnessed using solar panels.
are hybrid cars renewable or non renewable
For a while, yes. Long term, no. It is a non-renewable resource, and so we have to switch over to alternative energy sources.
Coal is a nonrenewable resource, while pine trees are a renewable resource. As sources of energy, the difference between coal and pine trees is that coal is a nonrenewable resource, while pine trees are a renewable resource.
Energy can be both a resource and nonrenewable. Renewable energy sources such as sunlight and wind are resources that can be naturally replenished. Nonrenewable energy sources like fossil fuels (coal, oil, natural gas) are finite and formed over millions of years, making them nonrenewable.
Hydro-Electric Power is the most renewable Energy resource that we have; while Water Still Flows.
The sun's energy is nonrenewable. Because if it explodes it can not be replaced in a human's lifetime (about 80 yrs).
A renewable resource is one which will be replaced after it is used. Wind energy is renewable because the wind will return tomorrow. Trees are renewable if you plant them again. So, fruit trees are a renewable resource.
is gravitatinal potential energy renewable or nonrenewable
Renewable. They keep reproducing at a rapid rate. Nonrenewable would be a dinosaur since they are extinct and no longer reproduce.
