There are many theory's about the origin of mankind. I don't have a central belief the beginning of the human race. I believe in both science and religion. A supernatural force of some kind (God, Allah, Yahweh, Brahma, etc) made space, planets and earth. Then we evolved from monkeys and became human.
In the western world there are two central belief patterns:
That of a creations story and that of an evolution story.
The origin of mankind could have easily been that a powerful force created man and let him live or that over millions and millions of years evolved into the modern man. Neither story is completely provable as of yet although one story relies predominately on faith and the other story predominately on science.
