Silicon is Nonrenewable, we can't produce more silicon if we mine all of it (and with out silicon you can't make silicone), however silicon is the 2nd most abundant element in the earths crusts making 27.7% of it, so it can be argued that human progress will not deplete all our silicon the way we are coming close to with oil.

A. Silicone is not oil based what so ever

B. Silicon is made typically with silicon and oxygen atom and an alkali, sometimes carbon
