Many times the people that make up the majority do not know what is ethical or not. The decision could be based peer pressure or other factors and may very well influence what the "majority" decides. Be as assertive and like JESUS as you can and at least make the right decision yourself. You might even be able to change what others think, most of it depends on the situation and the type of people in the group.
