What are two drawbacks for using fossil fuels?

• This has an impact on human health and on aquatic ecosystems.

Drawbacks of using fossil fuels are:

The main disadvantage of non renewable energy is that it can't be renewed. There is only a finite amount of these energy sources (oil, gas and coal) and if we keep using them they will eventually run out. 1) Fossil fuels pollute the air, water, ground, etc.

2) Fossil fuels will eventually run out and we will no longer have any left to lose and will therefore be sitting ducks as far as the energy "chrisis" is concerned!

Fossil fuels are finite, that is non-renewable. Once used up they are gone. This is part of the alleged reason that fuel prices are rising; it is an example of how the oil companies are burning your last dollar before you burn the last gallon of gas.
