Well, this is an opinion question, which is not the best thing to have on a site like this, where only 1 person at a time can answer. But I will do my best.
Given that I myself and transgendered, I am open and supportive for others like me. :)
Here check this ou--- wait I don't think I can provide links on this site... crap. Well, to put it short, transsexuality (synonymous with transgendered) is a birth defect. It is caused by a hormone imbalance during important stages in the womb. The baby ends up with a body of one sex, and a brain of the opposite sex. Brains have sex. This is their Gender Identity. And then there is Sexual Orientation, which is the body. Because of their body, the baby is treated as either a boy or a girl. But on the inside they are the opposite. If that baby grows up and tries to become his or herself, they will be ridiculed. But if the person acts like their body to please others, they will suffer. It sucks to live in the wrong body.
Yep :) that's about it. I am supportive of transgendered people.
Transgender = Трансгендерность (Transgendernost')
Transgender is an adjective.
PsychoSocialism refers to the psychoanalytic theories pertaining to transgender identification. The idea is basically that a child's environment, relationships with parents etc. affects his/her perception of self in such a way as to impact his or her gender identification. IF there is a virtue in this theory, it may perhaps from some persons' viewpoint be that the theory implies a cause effect relationship that might suggest the possibility of a "cure" for transgender identification or a way to prevent it. Of couse, this would not necessarily be considered a virtue if one holds a view of transgender theory that does not view transgender identification as a "problem' in the first place.
