The American 'Occupy' is a non-violent protest movement which consists of protestors occupying a public space, holding marches with signs and chants, and often establishing some temporary infrastructure such as food distribution and libraries. The main goals of the movement are greater income equality and accountability for the upper 1% of American income earners, especially those in the banking industry.
