Stop for long enough and you would eventually no longer need to consume fuel and pollute the air just to keep warm in winter, or keep cool in summer; you would no longer consume fuel and pollute the air by travelling in cars, buses, trains or planes; you would no longer need to consume food, which would reduce pollution by lowering consumption of fertilisers, while also reducing air pollution by reducing the number of cattle and thus the volume of air-polluting cow farts. Why - the list of pollution-reducing beneifts of not breathing is almost endless. Ever felt tempted to set a good example to the rest of mankind and try it?
