The consequences of water pollution are grave. Toxic water will not only harm plant and animal live in rivers, streams, lakes and oceans, but this harm will continue up the food chain to humans. Drinking polluted water can cause illness which leads to death. Eating food raised on, or in, toxic water can cause illnesses leading to death as well.
It becomes hot polluted air.
It's fresh. It becomes polluted.
The river becomes 'polluted'.
Nothing

When an ecosystem becomes polluted, it can lead to a decrease in biodiversity, harm to sensitive species, disrupted food chains, and degraded habitat quality. Pollution can also impact water quality, soil health, and air quality, leading to negative consequences for the overall ecosystem functioning.

well if the shrimp are cuaght in polluted water then they are polluted but if there are caught in fresh water then theyt are not polluted
It will just accumulate more water in the river but, if the runoff water becomes toxic due to nearby factories or power plants then it can damage that ecosystem.
