Ribbon production can have several environmental impacts, primarily due to the materials used and the manufacturing processes involved. Many ribbons are made from synthetic materials like polyester, which are derived from petroleum and contribute to pollution and greenhouse gas emissions during production. Additionally, the disposal of ribbons, especially non-biodegradable ones, can lead to waste accumulation in landfills. Eco-friendly alternatives, such as natural fibers or recycled materials, can help mitigate these negative effects.
Impact Printers.
Impact printers.
A dot matrix printer or impact printer is a type of computer printer and prints by impact, striking an inked cloth or Mylar ribbon against the paper.
Impact printer
It doesn't really have any impact on the environment.
No it does not have impact on the environment.
it can impact the environment but what are the reasons
Impact printers are dot-matrix printers like the Okidats Microline series. they use a print-head that has anywhere from 9 to 24 small pins that are forced out of the head and onto an ink impregnated ribbon which hits the paper and makes the impression of the character... just like a typewriter. Inkjet printers are not impact printers :P
what the environment tourasim
That would depend on the kind of aircraft and the speed it was traveling, at the time of "impact" on the environment.
An impact printer
Paper, toner if laser, ink if inkjet, inked ribbon if an impact printer.
