It seems like there might be a typo in your question. If you meant "polluted," it refers to the contamination of the environment, particularly air, water, or soil, with harmful substances. Pollution can result from various human activities, including industrial processes, waste disposal, and vehicle emissions, leading to adverse effects on health, ecosystems, and climate. Addressing pollution involves implementing regulations, adopting cleaner technologies, and promoting sustainable practices.
it is very horrible manky no fish stinks and is very pulluted
Some problems with becoming an industril society may include environmental cost, air more pulluted, and even more pollution.
Water can become polluted through various ways, such as industrial discharge, agricultural runoff, sewage discharge, and oil spills. Other sources of water pollution include littering, mining activities, and accidental chemical spills. These pollutants can contaminate water bodies and harm aquatic life, ecosystems, and human health.
Mmm I would say Britain is more pulluted because of it's high urban population. However Athens as an exception is exceedingly polluted, but London is polluted 2. I think both Cities have improved vastly though. But because Greece is much more rural, I would say it is less polluted.
Groundwater can become polluted when contaminants from various sources, such as agriculture, industry, landfills, or leaking underground storage tanks, seep through the soil and reach the groundwater. Once these pollutants reach the groundwater, they can spread and persist, potentially affecting drinking water supplies and ecosystems. Preventing groundwater pollution requires proper management of waste, chemical use, and land practices to protect this vital resource.
As of recent data, some of the most polluted cities in the world include Delhi (India), Lahore (Pakistan), and Dhaka (Bangladesh). These cities often experience high levels of air pollution due to factors such as industrial emissions, vehicle exhaust, and construction activities. Additionally, seasonal changes and geographic factors can exacerbate pollution levels. Efforts to combat this issue are ongoing, but challenges remain significant.
The Lorax by Dr. Seuss relates to food webs by highlighting the interdependence of organisms in an ecosystem. In the story, the Once-ler's actions disrupt the balance of the environment, leading to the decline of the Truffula trees and impacting the entire ecosystem, including the animals that depend on them for food. This demonstrates how changes in one part of the food web can have cascading effects on other organisms.
Water pollution poses health risks for humans through contaminated drinking water, causing diseases, gastrointestinal issues, and potential long-term health impacts. Additionally, polluted water can harm industries, disrupt economies, and create challenges for communities relying on clean water sources. : The Blind faith is the main cause and lack of proper awareness of pollution this holy river being mis used Yamunothri is the tributary to the Holy Ganges The Ganga Yamuna the most sacred river of India Thousand of myth are woven around it has been a witness to great historical and culture event are going on the ages. : But Every year in India some of shive Bhakt called kawar go to the near-by the his sources ....Gangotri Yamnotri Glacier They polluting this glaciers all of us know that this is the restricted area there no one can go near-by the Glacier but people do it why the Government does not take any attention there i don know ?thus all you know that the more dangerous thing is that we changing the environment in many ways . nature has the capacity to absorb the purity such thing but only to a certain limit. : how we can the contribute ? : how can we tell to the people? :
Technically all oceans are in some way or another polluted; the ocean is one gigantic mass of salt water, and the currents will move harmful chemicals around in it, just as they will with nutrients. Also since almost every landmass in the world is occupied by humans, and the majority of our species pollut in some manner of another. It is very difficult to not have the majority of oceans be polluted in some way.
