Roughly 15.75 million square kilometers.

This seems incorrect. Wikipedia says there are 31,000,000 sq km of land on the earth. Also, worded differently the answer comes up elsewhere here at WikiAnswers as 31,0000,000 sq km

The CIA website (which is pretty accurate when it comes to stats) has the land area at 148.94 million sq km. If arable land is 10.57% then it will be roughly 15.74 million square kilometers. The previous answer is correct.

The Webster dictionary gives a figure of 31M sq km. They're probably based on different definitions of "arable".
