Do you mean BI-sexuality?

It means, in basic terms, that a person is attracted, sexually, to people of both sexes--male and female. (To keep this simple, I'll skip over intersexed and hermaphrodites, which are a very small percentage of the population, globally.)

Look up the Kinsey scale.

Some people are only attracted to people of the same sex--others only to the other sex--

and others have a degree somewhere in the middle--and it's a smooth range of the many shades of gray, between the basic black or white!

Sometimes there is "situational homosexuality" such as in a prison or at war or in a boarding school--there are no people of the other sex, but, due to the sex drive, some people have sexual behaviors with people that they might not be inherently attracted to, but have sexual behaviors due to the fact that there are no other people around to have sexual expressions with.
