A lesbian is a woman who is primarily or exclusively sexually attracted to other women. A gay man is a man who is primarily or exclusively sexually attracted to other men. (Prior to the late 1960's, the word "gay" was used to refer to both men and women.)

A bisexual is a person (male or female) who is sexually attracted to both men and women.

Strictly speaking, it makes more sense to talk about homosexual acts, rather than homosexual people.

Being gay/lesbian means that you like another person of the same gender. Being gay or a lesbian is common in a few places so don't make fun of these people as it can be very offensive and you may well discover you're one of these people when you're older.
