Below is an article from 9th April 2009 on propertyweek.com - the original article can be found at:

http://www.propertyweek.com/story.asp?sectioncode=36&storycode=3138034&c=1 09.04.09 Sainsbury's has bought a west London site from Ballymore to kickstart a redevelopment of Fulham Wharf Ballymore bought Fulham Wharf for £30m from Tesco in autumn 2007. It is thought Sainsbury's paid a similar amount. The retailer already has a 35,000 sq ft foodstore, which trades next to the vacant site to the south of Townmead Road in Fulham. Over the coming months it will consider initial proposals for the redevelopment of the 3.5 acre Fulham Wharf site. The plans are set to incorporate an extended and improved Sainsbury's foodstore, homes, public space and enhanced access to a riverside walkway. John Rogers, Sainsbury's property director, said: 'While the economic downturn is unfortunately affecting some companies, it is business as usual for the Sainsbury's property team and we are continuing with ambitious plans to improve our property portfolio.'

According to the October 2007 edition of the Hammersmith and Fulham News, Tesco have just sold the site to an un-named buyer.
