2)Better use of farmland

-Crop rotation

Different crop uses different nutrients from the land.By growing different crops each year, the nutrients in soil will not be used up.This is called crop rotation.

-Fallowing

When the farming conditions are not very good, farmers can leave the field to rest for a period of time so that the soil' nutrients can be recovered. This is called fallowing.

-Mixed farming

Rearing livestock and growing crops in the same land can help increasing nutrients in soil cause livestock can release menure and provides nutrients.

3)suitable irrigation

we can use suitable amount of water for irrigation so that we won't waste water, aslo to avoid soil from becoming salty.

4)Avoid developing marginal land

The concept of sustainable agriculture is simply that it creates more benefit for the environment in general than it does harm. A good example of pure sustainable agriculture would be an organic garden which is tended only with hand tools.
