What is the connection between bullying and power?

Because the person deliberately and systematically abuses someone over time who is weaker then them and get a perverse (sick) kick out of it. People who bully that have some sort of mental disorder and have probably been abused themself as a child wich has warped their minds. The person who is their victim might be better than them at doing the same job, or have a characteristic which reminds the bully of themselves and in the end if nothign is done about it they may feel so abused and depressed that they may sufffer PTSD or commit suicide or they might snap and take a gun and 'shoot the world' before turning the gun on themselves.

Sometimes people in power use bullying to intimidate other people .When

a majority tries to intimidate people who are from a different ethnic group

they are using power in a destructive and self serving way.

They may be doing it to protect their physical resources or economic options by denying other people the same options. This may be semi conscious territoriality (an instinctive and irrational attitude of possessiveness) or a willful and strategic activity to destroy a people . The US government's Anti Indian Policies of the Nineteenth century of War / genocide and Removal of Indigenous people is a prime example.
