First wave feminism ended around 1920, because the Nineteenth Amendment was ratified, giving women the vote. First wave feminism had largely focused on getting the vote. Carrie Chapman Catt, one of the leaders of the Suffrage Movement (within first wave feminism), had in fact desired to make the suffrage movement so central to the first wave feminist movement, that she had bribed newspapers and used contacts in the press to get articles about other aspects of the women's movement removed, so that suffrage was the only issue focused on, in order to make it stronger. After suffrage was achieved, no other movements within first wave feminism really had any momentum, support, visibility, or resources, since so much had been thrown behind the Suffrage Movement, so first wave feminism ended, adn gave way to second wave feminism in the 1960s.

I don't believe that there is another word for feminism, the term feminist is clear on it's intentions: a movement to bring about gender equality. There are similar movements such as womanism which is a movement for equality for women of colour, as mainstream feminism is mostly white-centered many black women feel they need their own movement outside feminism to fight for their rights.

I'd argue that if black feminism didn't exist there would still be womanism, and whether there was a term for black feminism/womanism or not black women would still be fighting for their rights as human beings. Eco-feminism is a specific sub-set of feminism that opposes all forms of dominance: men over women, heterosexuals over homosexuals, and humans over animals (this last point is crucial in making it eco-feminism instead of just general feminism). Eco-feminism focuses on how hierarchies are linked and how these hierarchies affect not only people, but also the natural world.
