Life on earth is estimated to be around for another ten years, due to the use ofneonoctinoids, a type of insecticide which is damaging the navigational skills of the worlds biggest pollinator; the honey bee. The bees are also being harmed by the fact the fields these days are so huge and grow only one plant which flowers for a couple of weeks, meaning the rest of the time the bees cant get enough food, so they die.

Fist stocks have dramatically dropped, especially cod, haddock and bass. much of this due to over demand which is resulting in over fishing. There is also a huge amount of fish wastage, because by law if the fishermen catch more than a set amount of fish, the excess have to be thrown away, this is a huge waste!!!!!!!

The modern industrial agricultural practices are constantly being modified to become more sustainable. The concept of sustainable agriculture is simply that it creates more benefit for the environment in general than it does harm. A good example of pure sustainable agriculture would be an organic garden which is tended only with hand tools. While this is obviously too small to feed the world's needs, it provides a goal for industrial agriculture.
