It is any child that is below the age of adulthood. Adulthood varies from country to country were an child is considered to become an adult. Also there is also a different age where a child can be consider as an adult under legal terms for the purpose of both civil and criminal law which is mental capacity. In the UK a person under the age of 16 is considered a child, until their 16th birthday, although they can in certain circumstances be judged as having the mental capacity of an adult from the age of 12 but are still considered as a child.

Was the child labor slaves teenagers?

Child labor historically involved children of various ages, including teenagers, but it was not exclusively comprised of them. Many children as young as five or six were forced into labor in factories, mines, and farms during the Industrial Revolution and beyond. While some older adolescents may have worked under harsh conditions similar to slavery, the term "child labor" encompasses a broader range of exploitation that includes younger children as well. It's important to recognize that child labor is a violation of children's rights, regardless of age.
