Most clergymen do not like to use "spill" because it denotes an accident and they say that Jesus did not accidently spill his blood, but rather that his blood flowed from his wounds.
Generally doctor's offices have special receptacles and disposal processes for bio hazardous waste, so you won't have to deal with that. Most commercial-grade cleaners will be able to clean any stains caused by bio hazardous material (such as blood), but again, if there is a major spill involving bio hazardous waste, the doctor's office probably has a special cleaning procedure for that.

While alcohol can be effective as a disinfectant, it is not the best choice for cleaning blood spills. Instead, use a blood spill kit or a solution of bleach and water to properly clean and disinfect blood spills to prevent the spread of pathogens.

You should pour the disinfectant slowly and steadily over the paper towels to allow it to fully saturate the spill. Be sure to pour enough disinfectant to completely cover the affected area to ensure proper disinfection.
