4 engines available, 5.8 (351ci), 5.0 (302ci), 4.9 (300ci), 4.9 (300ci Bi-Fuel). Need to know which one you have.
www. the ranger station . com ( no spaces ) lists engine swaps for 4 cylinder , V6 , and even a 5.0 L V8 but not the straight 6 cylinder engine , so I'm pretty sure it is too long

On a Ford 4.9 litre / 300 cubic inch inline six cylinder engine : The firing order is ( 1 - 5 - 3 - 6 - 2 - 4 ) The distributor rotor turns CLOCKWISE The marked # 1 position on the distributor cap faces AWAY from the engine The engine cylinder locations are numbered 1 to 6 , from front to rear
Its located on the right side of the carb. The screw has a spring on it and pretty easy to identify. Good luck
the speed sensor should be located on the transfer case where the speedometer would go . there are several speed sensors on cars one at each wheel for the ABS system but a quick call to the dealer will probably help . on my 93 the speedometer sensor is located on the third member of the rear end.
