No he kan not have a ilegal alien number.
Yes, the issue with the traveler's i94 record not being found has been resolved.
In the US, an alien number refers to the alien registration number. It is an 8 or 9-digit number.
The system shows that the i94 record is not found for this individual because there may be an error in the data entry, the record may not have been properly updated, or the individual may not have a valid i94 record.
To access and review your i94 online travel history, you can visit the official U.S. Customs and Border Protection website and enter your passport information. This will allow you to view and print your i94 travel history for your records.
The I94 typically updates within a few days to a few weeks after a change in immigration status.
You have to get a visa in order to get a I-94.
The traveler's travel history or I94 record is not available.
Form I-102, available for download at www.uscis.gov, is used to replace an I94 (entry/exit document). An alien number is only issued to lawful permanent residents, those placed into removal proceedings, or those applying to become lawful permanent residents (immigrant visa applicants). Documents associated with any of these proceedings will contain the alien registration number, as will the alien registration card, Form I-551, which is only issued to lawful permanent residents. As with any important legal matter, a qualified immigration attorney should be consulted if there is any question as to the best way to protect yourself or explore your options when you have questions about dealing with the immigration service. There is not much difference and there is a LOT of difference! A visa number is assigned to a person entering the USA. It later can become his/her Resident Alien number if alien status is granted. An alien number (usually from your visa number) is assigned to you when you have been granted legal Resident Alien status.
