It looks like she said this because the original cases that sparked the movement didn't result in any convictions showing that Police were At Fault. And in a sense, she has a point... if the movement was just based on those cases, then there would be a hole in the logic. However, whether or not those cases did in fact involve injustice, I think that the movement is based on the perception of injustice, and continued discrimination. And in fact, Black lives do matter... as do all others. I think that it just depends on how you look at the movement... is it anti-cop, or just pro-justice? If it is pro-justice and pro-equality, I think it is something we can all get behind. Unfortunately, many people are interpreting it in a negative way. We all have to look at ourselves and see how we can do better in making the world a better place, not taking sides and laying blame.
