Why do bullies want to be noticed?

Bullies bully people for attention they get attention by hurting someone and make them feel weak and small. Bullies think they are cool and harder than everyone but they are not. You should always tell a teacher or an adult when someone bullies you if not phone childline.

Not all cyberbullies want attention. Some are just sadists. But often, some just want attention, which is not bad in and of itself. Most people want attention, and it is a normal drive, though most won't admit it. The only problem is that the bullies don't have the skills or confidence to earn attention in ways that don't harm others. Instead of posting an attack video on YouTube, they could post a video of themselves playing classical piano like Lady Gaga did before she became famous. Or they could make rap videos, and one of the big names might just like their rhymes. But they lack the confidence or skills. Still, if they want attention, there are plenty of ways to get it without hurting others. Even self-deprecating things are better than harming others. There are plenty of videos of guys daring each other to eat the most disgusting things imaginable. In terms of street creds, even insanity earns a few marks.
