Why do people deforest?

people are obviously doing it because they can't satisfy their greedy needs. they need to make five-star buildings, hotels, multi-storyrd buildings, etc. they need to invest money and become rich. that's why people are still clearing forests even though deforestation has many harmful effects

Because they can't. People are afraid. If no one does something then nothing will change, all people want is money, nothing else. Someone must stop this imediatly. 1000's of trees are being cut down and destroyed everyday. Animals are also dieing out because of it. Someone has to tell the people to stop. ASAP
