We humans are putting 27 gigatonnes of Carbon dioxide (CO2) into the atmosphere every year. (A gigatonne equals 1 billion tonnes.) This is causing global warming and climate change.
So we do need to store it instead of releasing it every time we burn fossil fuel in cars and industry. The best way to store CO2 is in forests and trees, so there is a worldwide movement to plant more trees and stop cutting them down.
Some attempts have been made to pump CO2 into old mines and empty oil wells, but there are many problems with this sequestering, including huge costs and leaking well. Nowhere is this method (sometimes known as clean coal) being used successfully and economically.
Plants. Plants will take the co2 away, but only store it, so when it dies the co2 comes back. you will need to remove the carbon from the co2 and then the co2 without the c2, it wil turn into o2 which is oxegen
No the side of a Co2 dragster does not need to match the have to fit.
Plants help remove CO2 from the air through the process of photosynthesis. Additionally, the oceans absorb and store large amounts of CO2, acting as a carbon sink. Some processes involving chemical reactions or technology can also capture and store CO2 emissions from the air.
C4 plants store CO2 in the mesophyll cells, where initial carbon fixation occurs using PEP carboxylase. CAM plants store CO2 in vacuoles within their cells during the night, when stomata are closed, and use it during the day for photosynthesis when stomata are open.
At a paintball or sporting goods store.
Is because it doesn't have the CO2
You may need to add CO2, and of course lighting - check with your local fish store for more information
it's a store and a web page. It is the largest air gun store I know of. www.pyramydair.com
They need the small sealed CO2 cartridges, not the screw on tanks. but yes they need Co2 to function.
if theres no co2 all the plants will die because they need CO2 (and sunlight) to do photosynthesis
Well, for humans CO2 is bad for is because it gets more humid in the atmosphere, but however the plants need the CO2 to process it into oxygen. Which we need.
It depends on the model, but most only need one.
