Why do you always get wedgies in school?

I used to get wediges all the time from kindergarten through 10th then I was finally able to switch away from briefs which made them stop. I was targeted because I was the kid that was super into Star Wars I mean I wore a Star Wars shirt every day almost and even star Wars themed suspenders and briefs sometimes. I was given a hanging wedgie this one day when I wore a Star Wars shirt, suspenders, and briefs on the first day of 8th grade I was hanging in that tree by my briefs until my brother got me down like 1-2 hours later.

It is a form of a prank and young men simply do it to others (generally the smaller or weaker students) as a prank. If you show no reaction as best you can they will eventually leave you alone and pick on someone else.
