If you are not at all sure why you wish to serve as a UN volunteer, you should ask yourself why you are applying for the position.

If, on the other hand, you are just struggling to express your reasons in a suitable order, try writing all the reasons you can think of to that, and to these, questions: why might you benefit from serving as a volunteer? What skills do you have? Why should they pick you over others? etc. Then think, which answers are most important? Try to stick to a few answers and explain your reasons in detail.

Spend a long time on this question, as this is how they will judge your suitability.
