Why don't people like bisexuals?

Technically, this question has an opinion as an answer. There is a yes and a no. My answer is no. Homosexuals, bisexuals, and transgender people are all sparkling individuals with feelings and hopes and dreams - just like everyone else. Nobody deserves to be hated for nothing. I respect everyone's opinion on everything, but I feel very strongly about this. I'm sorry if I'm getting intense, but my answer is NO! Make friends because you notice their personality, not their sexuality. Please, go into the world with open arms, an open mind, and an open heart.

Same reason homosexuals are. Because people don't see it as right. But as a bisexual myself, I see it as a plus to life and am open about it to everyone and I have never received any real discrimination for it.

people are unable to be as they would like others to be to them even if they are God fearing or not, leopards don't change their spots because they become Christians, society has had it out lawed for many years, and so it will continue in their minds till they preach it not to be a sin by those who see it to be sin. "So much for do unto others as they would have it done unto them". or love your neighbour as you would have your neighbour love you, "lol". Those who it has no affect upon and don't practice it are usually the ones who cry out against it the most, the self righteous do goodas and religionists.

Because some people don't think it natural to like the same sex. I'm straight and I don't really mind them to be honest because i find gays very nice to talk to you and very polite usually and lesbians are nice people too, they just like the same gender and that's okay with me. But still people don't like different people because of their difference. :( It's a shame really.

One of the greatest problems is heteronormativity and heterosexism. Gender binary and patriarchal structures contribute to hatred towards everyone non-heterosexual, non-cissexual, monogamous etc. Not being heterosexual 'implies' that there is no gender order ("man identifies as man and loves women", "woman identifies as woman and loves men"), hence upsetting the majority who cannot fathom what it is like to not conform to traditional values. Very often it makes heterosexual, cissexual people uncomfortable, it makes them "question" their identity. One of its consequences is hatred, violence. Also, many people are not well informed.
I believe people discriminate against gay people due to what they do in the bedroom. A person could be completely fine and wonderful until he/she comes out of the closet. Then it becomes a huge deal because they can only think about what that "gay" person is doing behind closed doors. I find it pathetic that that's all some people think about. They're only human. Love them all equally.

Discrimination can be based on several factors. In the case of many religious groups, gay men are stereotyped as:

• Being neater and cleaner (They don't look like "us")
  
• Concerned with body image (They must be less robust than us)
  
• Dressed differently (They don't wear proper clothes)
• Generally lived in communities apart from "normal" communities in the city (They're stand-offish)
  
• The church says they're evil (Filthy heathens!)
  
• They talk "funny" and are better educated (What art thy saying about us?)
  
• Work at jobs that are not manly
  
• Had a social interactions that were different
  

A close examination of these factors indicates no real problem except being "different". For people inclined to discriminate agains others, this is enough.
