Why is child labour happening?

child labour happens because children get sold to factories and such. they don't really have a choice but they work 12-15 hours a day and get paid very little. most of the time the places they work in are dangerous to their health and safety. most of the kids are orphans.

Child labour occurs because children dont have food and their parents are to sick to work which makes the children have to work for the food to fill the house.

The sad thing is they only get paid about $5 to feed their whole family.

Undeveloped countries typically have low-tech, low skill industries, which are "labor intense" - needing lots of work hours. If all fit adults are employed, the extra labor must come from somewhere, and families are grateful for the extra income.
