Because, sadly, so many are raised by people who have had ignorant and racial thoughts in their heads thought to them since birth. They simply do not know any other way to deal with differences than with hatred. Whether American or not, racism is a sad example of how hate, violence, and ignorance travel from generation to generation. But thankfully, love, peace, and knowledge are also passed on, and these are really our only weapons against racism.
Racism is still a problem today.
Racism has not ended, it is still a very large problem today.
Yes it is still a problem in Britain. It is a problem in every country in the world.
Racism isn't a problem to democratic countries. Most countries have problems with racism.
Many have to deal with racism on a daily basis. Racism is still a big problem in our society. Racism was the cause of much of the violence experienced in the 1960's in the United States.

Martin Luther King Jr. was successful in making America less racist than it previously was, but it would be a considerable overstatement to say that he ended racism in America. Racism still exists in America.
When no one can live comfortably and achieve true happiness because of a person's view that they are inferior because of their heritage and/or skin color, that's how racism remains a problem.
Martin Luther king did but I'm sorry there will always be racism its sad and true
No. Racism is the institutionalized racial prejudices against a certain race of people. Since white people in America still have the vast majority of power to make laws and enforce them, racism still can only be against people of color, not against white people.
Yes, looking at the past history on how racism has declined in America, there is a time hen racism will eventually stop in America.
Unfortunately there are still many forms of discrimination.
