Greasers in the 1950s typically wore brands like Levi's or Lee. The style included cuffed jeans that were often rolled up at the bottom, paired with white t-shirts or leather jackets.
No, are you kidding me. Greaser is simply a term for a subculture that originatied in the late 40's to early 50's and continued on being a mainstream thing until 65-66 or so. However, this isnt to say there arent plenty of greasers out there. No, they are not racist, most are made up of Whites and Hispanics who just like cars, old rock n' roll music (witch is orriginated as a cross between Southern White and Black music), and just the general mood of the 50's. Nothing racist about them.
hmm I'd have to think about this one however i would say something like taken over;made a peasant etc. that is pretty much the best answer that i can come up with (at the moment)
Children could end up in workhouses if they were orphaned, abandoned, or came from impoverished families unable to care for them. Many workhouses offered food and shelter in exchange for labor, making them a last resort for families struggling to survive. Laws and social attitudes at the time also played a role in the institutionalization of children from disadvantaged backgrounds.

The conflict between the Greasers and the Socs in the book The Outsiders is that Socs and Greasers disliked and hated each other. The Socs jumped greasers and wreck houses and throw beer blasts for kicks. Greasers are like hoods they steal things and drive up old souped-up cars and hold up gas stations and have gang fight once in a while. The Socs were West-side rich kids. The term "greaser" , is used to class all the boys on the East side.
Neither was good, either way they both did bad. Either the socs were beating up greasers, getting drunk,or making fun of the greasers. Or the Greasers were Getting drunk, stealing, fighting, etc. ,, they both did wrong in the long run.

Ponyboy is different from the other Greasers, he loves literature and enjoys watching movies. Sometimes Ponyboy doesn't think (to the dismay of Darry).I came up with these character traits:Loyal (he's always loyal to the Greasers)Bright (loves to read)Affable (all the Greasers confide in Ponyboy and think he's easy to talk to).
