Advanced cultures typically refer to Western society, which originated from European philosophy and science. Primitive is an ethnocentric term originating from western culture. It usually refers to tribal based cultures. Modern societies heavily rely on science and a form of centralized government. Primitive societies place more emphasis on the tribal rituals, family, tradition, and spirituality.
Society refers to the group of people living together in a community, while culture encompasses the beliefs, values, behaviors, and traditions that this group of people shares. Society involves the organization and relationships among individuals, while culture shapes the way these individuals think, act, and interact. Essentially, society is the structure, while culture is the essence.
People differ in their performance due to a combination of factors including individual capabilities, motivation, experience, training, and resources. Personal characteristics such as personality traits, skill level, and mindset also play a role in influencing performance outcomes. External factors like support from peers, leadership, and the organizational culture can also impact individual performance.

The argument that all cultures are equally valid is known as moral relativism. The main thrust behind moral relativism is that there are no universal truths and that morality is relative the the cultural, social, historical or personal view point of that culture, society, history or person. Moral relativism is one point of view in itself. There are, and were cultures that practiced cannibalism as part of their social structure. These cultures have never developed into any social structure higher than that which we call today as primitive. What is meant by primitive is that this society never built cities or edifices on the same par with the rest of the world. For the most part, most countries in the world have progressed together in terms of art, technology and understanding of the world that surrounds them. Those societies that remain stagnant while the rest of the world progresses towards modernity are known as primitive societies. The moral relativist would argue that this primitivism is no more good or bad than the modern societies. These moral relativists, however, or more often than not, found in modern societies and not in primitive ones.
