Imposing a curfew on juvenile kids can decrease the crime rate by reducing the opportunity for young people to engage in criminal activities during peak crime hours, such as late at night. It can also help to keep young people safe from potential harm and influence from older individuals who may be involved in criminal behavior during the late hours. Additionally, curfews can lead to increased parental supervision and involvement in a child's activities, which can deter delinquent behavior.
There is no specific data on the number of kids kidnapped specifically for staying out past curfew. Kidnappings of children are relatively rare and most are by someone they know. It is still important for children to follow safety guidelines and for parents to set curfews to help protect them.
If there isn"t enough clear cut abuse. with the obvious exceptions of juvenile toys, games, etc and kiddy programs, the answer is NO! it is sad but the old so-called Heidi Gambit of using a little child- usually a girl, to hawk adult products like Automobiles has been revived! Thankfully, this is not used for intoxicant products such as alcoholic beverages. It just is not right!- same goes for juvenile actors and models, let Kids be Kids!

Teens should have curfews and it makes them happy [pursuit of happiness] that they get to go out! When I was young, my parents were very strict. They rarely let me "hang" with friends. They always made me stay in my room and study because they just wanted me to get an education. Now teens are going out to parties and having fun when they don't know things were very different before and that they are very lucky.
No, it's not a crime, just ignorant
because kids need to have rules so when they are younder they absorb it, and then when they are teenagers it should come natually for them to go to bed early!
