Hello..wow interesting question but hard to answer as Afro-chileans are not officially recognised in the chilean population census. Ther are a few organisations that represent afro-chileans such OroNegro, Lumbanga and Cachimbo Negro and they estimate that there are over 3,000 + in Chile, mainly in the North like in the cities of Arica, Azapa Valley, LLuta Valley, Camarones...There is a mis-conception that people of African origin in Chile are either from neibouring Peru or immigrants from Colombia or cuba..in some instances this is true , especially in Santiago but the slaves were introduced to all of Latina America, including Chile..hope this helps
